About Me
Hi, I’m Misty - a wife, mom, grandma, and maker of beautiful things. You’ll usually find me surrounded by craft supplies, a good playlist, or a video game controller (sometimes all three at once). Creating is how I unwind, how I play, and how I pour love into the world around me.
I also serve at my church, leading worship with the praise band and walking alongside others through the care ministry with my husband. Wherever God opens a door to serve, I’m grateful to step through it.
The name Haven Made Crafts carries two layers of meaning. On the surface, it’s simple: these pieces are made right here in my own little haven, the quiet corners of home where ideas turn into something you can hold.
But the deeper story is one of grace. I had started a business in Spring of 2024. Very soon after, we lost our older son. Every time I tried to continue the business, it still carried the weight of that season. Eventually I knew I needed a true fresh start, a rebrand that felt free of the shadow and with a new focus.
Through the hardest storm of my life, the Lord has been my haven. Without Him, I don’t know how I would have made it through. This business is part of that new chapter, a place of creativity, hope, and quiet joy that He made possible.
